Mirrors

Today was Jayde and Savana's last day staying with us. They have gone now, the house is quiet, and now that the commotion is over I wish they were still here. Earlier I went along to pick Jayde up from school. While waiting I got bored, but as luck would have it, I had my camera. These are just a glimpse of my down time.

Jayde and Savana's Stay At Grandma's House

Chris and Amanda are in Vegas for WPPI, and left the girls at our house for a few nights. Amanda Always worries about leaving her kids, but I think we have made out ok:

and read Dora, a Savana personal favorite.

Jayde and Savana will go back home tomorow, and our house will turn back into normal, boring old Brock and his parents... but I think the girls will be excited to see their parents. 

Mandie

It's nearly impossible to get a good picture of Mandie, my parent's over-pampered, somewhat annoying shih-tzu, anytime she sees the camera she runs away, I think it scares her. However: This time was different. I set my camera, then left it on a nearby table and played tug of war with Mandie for several minutes. Once she was tuckered out, I grabbed my camera and actually got a picture of Mandie!
